PTE Stock Location Intercooler

Just received my PTE stock mount intercooler yesterday, & I have to say it looks very nice. I am having trouble getting the nut off the stud on the stock intercooler ps bracket. I was able to remove the first nut but now I can't get the second nut off. Does it come off? What is the stud attached to? To the inside of the oil pan? The bracket is loose and I can rotate it, but the nut is still holding it on.-Posted in Turbo Lounge since no replies I reposted here-

If I am not mistaken...that stud goes through the front cover. You need to only remove the nut that holds the intercooler bottom bracket. You need to leave that stud in. The new intercooler bracket utilizes a water pump bolt. I hope your intercooler came with instructions! If not I will email you them.
