NOT FOR LONG

I do have one issue thats kinda worrying me though, I smoked a couple of Rustangs on the H1 this morning and I happened to notice the OIL Pressure guage was acting up.....after getting off the H1 any time I would get on the gas...the guage would peg....then it would settle down very strange......TURBO JOHN I finally put on the 63 that I got from you last year.....wow what a difference.........now all I need is a T/C and I am set......gonna run it this FRIDAY if I can get the AOK irt the OIL Pressure.....hoping its just the Guage...... any and all assitance is appreciated........"DIJ"

Thanks Derek

Did a SEARCH and I found dereks post IRT oil pressure below so I recon all is well Guy your really in trouble now.......heheheheheheh LOL

Sounds like it's doing what it should be. Whent he car is cold, the oil pressure is "regulated" by the relief spring. As the car warms, the oil becomes less viscous and pressure goes down. The as you increase or decrease RPM's the pressure should increase or decrease along with RPM. The general rule of thumb is 10psi per 1000 RPM. Now if it was instanly jumping around all over with no changes in RPM, I would suspect a bad connection in the gage wiring...
