pulled the body side moldings off...

I always thought the moldings were held on by clips which left holes in the panels. Well, last night I started yanking on them and to my surprise, they were just glued on. They came off real easy. Only problem, the paint under them is now darker than the stock 18 year old light blue. So my question is what do I need to do if anything, to make it less visiable.

it will soon fade and match the rest of your paint. no need to do anything.

Nothing you can do but repaint.

Buffing the car may bring some of the luster back to the other paint, making it less visiable.

I want to take off my side moldings too...............makes the car look "Cleaner"
