Pulling the engine

I'm pulling the engine out for the first time. Can someone post a disconnect procedure of the electrical wiring and components. Thanks

After you get the ALT, tentioner, A/C and PS pump loose there will be about 10 plugs there to free up that channel down the DS valve cover. When the coil pack is removed, there's that plug, the injecter harness and the knock sensor. A bunch of wires on the starter and some PIA grounds on the back of the head.

They will be different with each brand of engine stand since they are not all the same.

no biggie. Take one trans mounting bolts with you to the store and get bolts that are longer than you need. (Measure your engine stand first) then take up any space with washers or lug nuts etc.

If the car is unmolested there is a bolt that holds the large oval wire loom to the intake, it is located where the coil pack and knock sensor is.

Take pictures and use baggies,freezer bags,any kind of bags and label everything including all connectors . Have fun take your time.

Measure you standoffs on your stand and add 1/2 inch. Then get some 3/8-16 bolts, and large washers, at that length.
