Pump Modification

Hello, I was enlarging the the front pump seal return passage to a quarter inch and I cut into the pump area. It looks like it is on the exhaust side of the rotor which would drain back in to case, but I would like double check this.

I would not use it, replace the pump half.

I have done that and used the pump anyway just to see what would happen. It seemed to have no affect on the pump since it is on the exhaust side. The pump worked just fine.
