Pump replacment from assembly

Whats the best way to change the fuel pump , should I pull it stright down seems like it is a pressue fit. I have it on the bench and do not want to damage it. Any help would be well helpfull

Assume you're talking about the pump on the hanger assembly..you can bend the leg of the hanger a bit to get it out..
