Guys,
I getting ready to start buying parts to do a rebuild on my 2004R trans (87 GN). I'm moving from a 7 vant to a 10 vane pump.
Hardened pump rotor rings were installed in the last rebuild of the 7 vane pump that is in my car now, which has 8-10k miles on it and the only problems are the flaring of the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, would it be safe to use the hardened rings from the 7 vane to the new 10 vane pump, or should new one be bought?
Thanks,
Jerry
