Was sent the wrong pushrod length, and before I have to wait to get a checker sent to me, and then reorder the rite size, I figured someone on the board has to be running a simular combo!!!!! Only thing holding me up to get it back running again with new combo!!! Looks like 8.500-8.600, but not sure.

GN1's with 212/212 hydr/roller, Cometic gaskets, Scorpion 1.55 rockers.
Thanks!!!!!!!

Need more info. Thickness of the Cometics, was the heads shaved, blocked decked, who's roller lifters, length of valves. Assuming the Scorpions are adjustable.

My advice, based on experience, is that you should check each pushrod length requirement. For checking length, I improvised a home made adjustable pushrod by cutting a solid 5/16 dia. pushrod in two pieces and threading a little stud into the hole of each cut end. The two exposed stud ends were then connected together with a threaded coupling which allowed for adjustment. The studs and coupling are available from ACE Hardware. I don't remember the stud size - perhaps no. 6. BTW, after measuring my pushrod length requirements, I ordered a set of adjustable pushrods from T/A Performance because there was over .035" variation among the 12 valves.
