my big turbo swallowed something and bent up the compressor fins, well i put the stock turbo back on the car yesterday to drive it. with my convertor the stock turbo spools faster than you can blink, at quarter throttle the thing is ready. i can break the tires off idle through three gears, it's CRAZY. it's also fun, but the top end charge is gone.
right now i'm running about 19 lbs in first and second with no knock. i'm supposed to run a friend of mine tommorrow who has similar mods, but is running a te-60. i'm not worried, it's just a friendly rivalry, but i'm curious as to what everyone's opinion is.

everything in my signature minus the ta-54..:(
oh, minus the alky too, i'm running the good stuff tommorrow.

i never knew the stock turbo could be so much fun...:D

You need slicks and 22psi. boost with decent gas.

Then you might have a chance. ;)

That's a given you need the race chip with the race gas. :)

Unless it's burned for over 22psi. boost the stocker can make....

I had same setup as you with the exception of using 36# injectors and a V4 IC with my stock turbo. Ran 12.34 @109 with this setup, but I was pushing a lot of timing with 22 psig of boost. At peak boost I was running @30* of timing with race gas. I tried higher boost but did not improve, I had reached the limit of the combination.
