I got a hollow sway bar from a board member and threw away the bracket and bushing that goes around the sway bar and bolts to under the car by accident does anyone know the sizes of the bushings and bracket. I am trying to order some out of Jegs but dont know the size and would hate to order one and the holes not line up when I get it.

Thanks,
Joshua

If you order the bushings for the correct diamater bar, you should be good to go. The brackets that came with my bushings from Summit had some room for adjustability.

I used the bushings that I got from GM to match the 36mm bar. The brackets for the F body didn't match up with the bolt holes, though, so I reused the original brackets. Should be able to find some under a "G" body in salvage yard, since you threw yours away. They seemed to be too small for the bushings, though. When I first put them on, I couldn't tighten the bolts completely, to get the bushings flush against the frame. But I tightened the bushings "snug tight", drove the car for a day, then whacked the bushings with a rubber hammer, and tightened again. On the third day, they were finally snug against the frame. Maybe I could have forced them closed to start with, but I was afraid of stripping the bolt holes.

thanks, what i did was just drill the holes in the bracket longer so that the bolt holes match up, as i dont really have time to order new ones or go look for some.

thanks for everyones help,
Joshua
