I'm running .030 over Turbo buick wiseco pistons #5040H3 in my TTA with champion ported heads and intake. From what I understand TB pistons with TTA heads raise compression. My heads had a O-ring on them that was not installed correctly so Tom at Champion surface the head flat. I think I'm going to try the ICS Titan headgaskets this time round. Would a .080 gasket get me back down to about the stock compression ratio? I read somewhere at for every .004 in thickness + or - equals 1 cc or .1 in compression so if the stock gasket is .060 and I use a .080 gasket it should lower the compression ratio .5 Does this sound right? Thanks, Jason

Stock gasket is like .040

So a .060 would get your target

I got this from Tom.. guess a check with a micrometer is in order.
