Sorry, kind of long. I took the Regal out the other day to get an estimate on body work and paint. Anyhow, the tempurature that day was just around freezing. I had a full tank of 94 octane and the PAc was topped off with Methanol. I went to get on it after it was warmed up and the knock guage shoots into the red immediatley. I look down and the red LED on the PAC unit is off so thinking I left it off, I went to turn the knob and it was already in the on position. It turns out I blew a fuse in the unit itself. O.K. , so I just repalced the fuse and everything seemed fine. I took the car out again tonight, (again the Temps were around freezing) and noticed the lights were comming on but I had a lot of knock again. At a stoplight light, I pushed the test button and when this usually almost stalls the car, it had no effect. I drove the car to my Parents house and removed the inlet tube with the line and nozzel still hooked up. I called my dad to come out and push the test button while I looked in to the tube. After him pushing the button a couple of times, it finally sprayed. Does Methanol freeze? I don't know much about Methanol. Maybe I should learn more about it before secrewing around?

The meth shouldnt freeze! Maybe your system lost it's prime..When my car sits too long, I have to pop the test button a couple times to get alky running through it..

IF your methonal is freezing stay indoors!! Somewhere near –114.1°C.

Check lines and that the pump poppet isnt sticking shut ( idk if the PAC deal retains the pressure switch>?!) The nozzles have a fine mesh to prevent clogging the actual orafice, they may be clogged... Make sure the pump is turning on... if it is, then the poppet is stuck or the lines are clogged somewhere. If the pump isnt turning on, then it isnt receiving it's PWM signal or it has blown the mains fuse, or the relay (if there is one?!) is not being triggered.

Other than that, idk the internals of the PAC system or even used one so you might have to wait if the above doesnt fix it.

The pump is working fine, I have to push the test button a couple of times to get it to spray but it still works intermiitently when I drive it.
