I ordered the Hooker dual exhaust system from summitt, does it come with a test pipe? i didnt think it did, but just want to make sure before i buy one. Also, is there any welding necessary when installing this system, or can it be done in my driveway?

yes it comes with a test pipe and is all bolt together--no welding. nice system for the money

Hooker 2.5 dual system

The hooker 2.5 dual exhaust is a catback system only. No test pipe. the system does fit good though.

MMMMM hooker

mine came with a test pipe that somehow stayed on the car despite my best efforts to replace the cat:cool:

The Hooker system is very good for the money in my opinion. Mine came with a test pipe that ii no longer use. If your system doesn't come with the test pipe send me an e mail.

I ended up using a set of hookers ultra flows (Glass packs, straight though design). Instead of the mufflers the kit came with it knock a .05 off my ET's. But they are heavy.

i had the flowmaster on my car, it was ok but it only had 1 muffler.i would definatellly go with the hooker over the flowmaster.great exhaust for the money, and it did come with the testpipe.:D

thanks xlr8, ill let you know, it should be here any day. how about the sound of this system? i have a 2.25 inch stock system on now, will it be louder?

The Don,

Flowmaster systems are set up for chambered exhaust that works with exhaust pulses. Since we have a turbo, we don't need to worry about the pulses. We need a strait through type of muffler and flowmaster doesn't work good for our setup.
