Hell yeah! I will try to make it since edgewater is 15 mins from my house I took 2 of my boys down there to the last quick 8 and saw Jim rocks Buick make a run. Wanted to come over to say hi but my 5 year old was getting restless and we had to leave.

Kevin, Look us up , we will most likely be along the track fence near the head of staging lanes. May have the awning out and stereo blasting. My wife loves kids and she can make them right at home. Your welcome to call our pad your home for the evening. Fiscus may also be there. BTW that was me in Rocks car at the last quick 8 race , we were having serious lack of fueling issues , it goes on the dyno next week. I would love to finally meet you!! Mike

OC , Gates open at 2 , with quick 8 qualifing at 5 & 6 , first round at 7. Hope to make a time run around 3:30 to see if Im in the game and adjust from there for first round. Im going to try taking a shot at the low qualifier money just for ****s and giggles. Your big buddy ROCK will be there with me. Hope to see you there!! Mike

Update!! Couldnt make a test run , so on first qualifing pass the goofy driver forgot to trip the data record button. Ended up 3rd qualifier with #1-4.241 , #2 - 4.244 , we were 3rd - 4.247 but with no data to adjust to!! So trying to be safe I put a bit more fuel in it and increased both the starting line rpm and the shift point rpm. 2nd round the car left much harder and was on a pretty good pass when suddenly I heard what sounded like a gattling gun going off right behind me. Obously I shut it down wondered what the H was that. Turned out that the end of the front/drivers side head was torched out and firing right at me. Sorry didnt get any pics of the carnage but I will in a few days hopefully. Defenetly need to get something started with some billet heads at this point in the journey!! Mike

Garage sale has taken over my garage so its going to be a bit before I can get the engine out of it , but here is a coulpe pics of the carnage. Hard to see on the second pic but it has alum/concrete dust covering everything in front of the engine. Notice it even torched the motor plate a bitYea I felt the heat!! These heads have been repaired about 4-5 times , time to work up a new set OR get started on some billet heads!! Not sure what Im doing just yet. Mike
