what is, or is there a difference between a pt-51 and a pte-51? is the pt-51 a good turbo for mainly street use? i have the stock tc and 37# injectors, and a bigger wastegate puck, how would the 51 do on my car?

I think that the some call a PT51 a PTE51 because it comes from Precision Turbo & Engine. There also may have been some inconsistancy in PTE's designation of that turbo.

There are a lot of factors that effect lag and/or spoolup. Some like the 51 with the D5 and others don't. Search for PT*51 AND D5 for more info.
