Quick scan master tuning question

I understand If I add/take away fuel my blm will go up or down depending on adding or taking fuel. Also the blm will change if I change timing. Does this mean if I add fuel I add timing too? Taking fuel away takes away timing? I'm just looking to add fuel. Not mess with timing
