Race chip with alky

Can you use a 110 chip with alky? But I'm sure Eric's alky chip is the way to go.

the 110 chip may have too much third gear timing

the alky chips run timing around 23* 1st +2nd /20* 3rd +4th ,you can run more 1st and 2nd gear timing (ive maxed the chip to 27*) with alky but once you hit third ive found 23* to be about it

the 110 chip could be 28/28 or more

calling eric would be (is) my choice
if your 93 TT chip has the ability to trim fuel and add timing Id run with that . when i first hooked up alky I ran a 30# street chip (93 octane) with 20/18 timing on mine with excellent results

Eric told me that it is not a good idea to run alchy on a race chip, because the race chips have a lot of fueling, where as an alchy chip considers the alchol a fuel. With a race chip it will be too rich, and as someone noted, may have to much timing-depends on the chip. When in doubt email Eric.

Just email eric and give him your entire combo, he will know what timing you will need.
Since you have a stock turbo, your car will love alot of timing, my daily driver has a stock turbo and i run 28° in first and second and 25° in third with 20-21 psi of boost with my alky kit.
Make sure you have new plugs, 02 sensor and a good fuel pump before your turn it up.

That is correct. A race chip for race fuel will work, but it will be badly out of tune at WOT. I cut almost 15-20% of the fuel out of my chips at WOT when I started using alky.
