Race gas in an alky system?

I searched and found a post from 2002 on this but no one had said they tried it. Could you use race gas in an alky system as any auxillary fuel system? I really don't think performance would be as good as the cheaper alky anyway.

What do you think?

If your tank, lines, pump, etc are fuel compatible guess you could. I dont think the octane benefit will be the same tho. Guess by the time you design a system, most will go for the alky vs gas.

FWIW, My systems wont handle gasoline.

Just thought... the nitrous enrichment systems do this with separate fuel cells... run race gas with the bigger pills.
