Co-worker (and really good guy) has an 2001 mustang GT 4.6. Nice car no mods, and was flappin his lips about how good it runs, so I say to him, U wanna run the Olds?(87 GN Drivetrain)signed confused He says it wouldn't even be close. Now I'm a lil insulted but then again he has no idea whats in the ol Hybrid So anyway should I give him the Smackdown or just let it go?

My wifes 99 GT Vert auto only ran a 14.79. This was a good passfor that car. Only mods were a K&N and freeflow exhaust. Flowmaster knock offs.

Do it right - get the car ready and invite him out to a track. If he accepts, the two of you will have a great time regardless of who wins or loses.

It's a win - win for both of you that way.

Hey lieu thats exactly what I'm gonna do, bad thing is it only seems to get colder as the days go by here ,--its snowing today but I'm sure I can lead him to the slaughter house at the Grove in a month.

I called him on Saturday and tried to get him out for the beating but he said he had some family thing to do It might be true but I gotta feeling hes gettin scared. He did however say again that it wont even be close which brought a smile to my face. If anybody in Chicago is interested in watching this let me know and I'll give a notice before it goes down. Im gonna try to talk him into doin it at the Grove, it should be opening soon.

I'd be interested. Haven't been up to the Grove in a while. I'll bring my video camera for you too. Let me know as soon as you firm up a date in case I'm on shift and need to trade.

I'm pretty sure thats goin to be the day--I'm in the Chicago Gear Heads club and I believe thats the first club race day. The guy with the caddy CTS (Buickpowered) is gonna be there too. Ill get back to you with the definite info.
