IS Atco the track open all year round or is it Island dragway? Need a place to continue racing. I've only used E-town so far and Island once.

WOO HOO! 100 posts!!!!

This is why I want to live in Florida, or somewhere down south. Good weather all year round, and tracks stay open. :D

me too!

lets go matt! im with you .ill spring for the u-haul !!!!:D

p.s i know,i know. i havent sent you my club membership form yet. it will be there shortly.
nick,

lol.. I've been wondering if you were still alive, Nick.

Send it in whenever. As far as car action goes, we're basically in hibernation for the winter. At least after Cecil's last two saturdays of test & tune. Just wanna keep everyone in touch for when the new season comes.

I hate winter:( :(

Florida sounds good, my garage is even bone chilling. Installed Alum bumper filliars on last weekend froze my ass off. I hate winter. It also freezes my hair Gel.

The only thing I hate more than cold weather is SNOW. Justs goes to show you that this planet although harbors life is still a very harsh enviornment. I hate it, hate it, hate it.

LoL. Poor Banning is mad. He was all ready to head to Cecil this Saturday, but with the 6-8" inches of snow still laying around, it appears to be out of the picture. Why couldnt the snow wait until after the last test & tunes?

Same reason why it rains every year at all the GN events at ET. Must be a force from the dark side.

Guys, think of it this way.. all of those states that have the warm weather all year round are also those that get the tornadoes, hurricanes, tropical storms, etc. Be thankful all we get here in the northeast is the snow and cold and maybe a few days of nasty stuff in the summer. :D

Yeah, but down there in those states, the average hurricane is nothing. They're always pretty well prepared for it, and everything is structurally built to withstand it. Unless its a Cat-4 with 120 mph + winds, theres usually nothing too bad. I have friends and family that have lived in Florida for years, and they're just like "bad storms" to them. I never hear of that many tornadoes in the southeast. Sometimes, but not that often. Usually a mid-west or "deep south" (near the mississippi) thing. And we get them -here- anyway. Middletown DE has had a few touch down in the past couple years, which is about 15 minutes from me.

As far as earthquakes, thats a California thing. CA sucks. I think I've heard of a quake somewhere in the Carolinas that happened an extremely long time ago, but I've never heard of anything since. Not sure how true the story was or when it was. Point being, no matter where you go, theres always some issues of mother nature you have to suffer. Thats just part of living on planet earth. I'm willing to deal with it.

Almost there

The second biggest fault line next to the andreas fault is in NY. It runs under the east river. It's been dormant for so long people dismiss it. If it ever lets loose the buildings in the NE aren't made for this. Dominos.

As for the heat I've seen 137* in the desert and -30 in the mountains of Yugoslavia. I'll take the heat anyday of the week...
