Ill say it is a little pricy compared to DIY, but ill tell you this is a nice setup. The way everything came together was very nice and the filter placement was easy peasy. The last picture is the steel line Carnage

Made my own AN fitting hanger from my existing Spectra hanger. I wish someone would make a viable option for those that do not want to upgrade to E85 pump, and already have a good pump....spending another 400$ on another sending unit and pump just to get a hanger is BS.

Great job! Way cheaper than buying one that's for sure us poor guys can't afford it:D Did you weld the fittings on?

Yes..had them done today. Now I wonder if i.can get a 430 e85 pump to fit. This cost 10$

I'm curious too about the fittings on the hanger. I went from AN to a barb fitting and a few inches of rubber. I didnt buy the kit just did my own. My fuel filter I used.

Sorry maybe i missed it .Do you have a brand or part number of the fitting?.Thanks in advance.

Here is what I did. I went to the local hydraulic hose place with my buddy that specializes in HD machinery. We looked at the closest fittings in diameter, cut one end off, drilled it out a bit....then allowed a SOLID welding base. My fittings are steel not alum. I think you can do it with alum fittings but would need to find a local welding house that can silver solder. Hell of an opportunity for a company to make these without the pumps and AN fittings premade. I like the idea of buying a 500-700$ sending unit and pump, but my pocket book says otherwise right now. :)

Interested in helping the group with the fittings? If so I am in for two sets! I gotta build a fuel system for my LS swapped B Body. Hit me up if you can help!

An 8 as well as an6. Diameter of the hole was determined by measuring the OD of the fuel line and drilling the fitting out.

Looks good. I built my own an setup for a 435 pump. I cut off the ends and flared them then used tube nuts to connect them to an unions. Turned out pretty well and only cost $300 with the pump.198.jpg 214.jpg

can you describe and or picture what it took to hang the big pump in the hanger? Interested in seeing hose and wiring

I tried use the racetronix mount http://racetronix.biz/itemdesc.asp?ic=SPM-DCSS&eq=&Tp= but it clocks the pump the wrong way and the sock hits the baffle. I cut off the lower pump mount and used stainless steel zip ties to attach to the hanger and the rubber boot to insulate it. This is the only way to orient the pump to line up with the outlet. I am looking for some pics because they're on my old phone.
