I just purchased and installed one of their fuel pump hotwire kits. I've yet to try to start the car because it seems as if there is one extra wire coming of the relay that doesn't go to anything as per the instructions. It's a single black wire with a funny looking silver connector on it. Did I miss something in the instructions or does this wire just hang? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

you actually got instructions with your hotwire/fuel pump kit???
last kit i installed from racetronix a few months back included 2 pictures and each were the size of a half dollar-
the customer told me after i was finished with the install, that the instructions were available on THE INTERNET
thats great for everyone who works on their car near a computer, but should be advised or at least informed that there are no instructions included with the kit...
thank god its not rocket science
Pictures the size of a half dollar? Your customer must have handed you the sales brochure not the instructions.
If you want color copies of the instructions we can provide them or you can print them off yourself.
The idea is to keep the price down and the quality up. The Buick kit is one of the most comprehensive but least expensive of all the kits we carry. Ever wonder why?
BTW these instructions have been on the net since Jan this year???
The instructions I got were net based also. I read them over thoroughly once and that was that. It doesn't take much to install. I only went back to them when I realized I had an extra wire hanging w/ no where to go. But as we know, that was taken care of. By the way, car started right up and prrrrs like a kitten.
Thanks again!

I just ordered the full Racetronix kit today.
I'll be putting it on the weekend after I get it (hopefully this weekend). I've done about 6 fuel pumps in 5.0 Mustangs, I can't imagine this being any more difficult. I glanced at the hotwire kit instructions online tonight, they look pretty straightforward.
Looking forward to it...then it's time for a chip, adjustable wastegate actuator and Scanmaster.

Just put the Racetronix hot wire kit and Walbro 340 on my GN last month. Piece of cake. Instuctions were fine. I had to come up with the right sized bolt (short) to attach the fuse holder to the back of the alternator to give it a finished look. Also used an electricians fish tape to fish and pull the hotwire harness through the frame rail over the differential. I took some extra time and it came out real nice. Service from Jack was great. Highly recommended kit. Body ground kit was nice too.
