Radiator hold down question

Replacing my fans so i have my radiator out and wanted to put a new hold down on. Has anyone fabricated thier own instead of buying one?

I've thought about it, just haven't done it yet. Pretty simple piece if you look at the aftermarket ones.

Scott at GNS Performance has several options available, a copy of the original (looks OEM) in fibreglass and two more custom looking in both carbon fibre & fibreglass.

Thanks, but i want to try my hand at fabricating one. Just wanted to see if there were any good ideas of people have already done out there.
