Those S2 parts are being put in Roadways storage area because you have not picked them up:confused: Ive emailed both of you and sent John ( Ridiculous Kid) a privite mesage with a number that he needs to call ASAP. The contact number John gave was for Roadways own office and they have no way of contacting you guys  Im sure they will start charging you storage:( I had those parts for over a year and i should have charged storage for tripping over them:D

Well i guess that $176.00 qoute i gave you last year when you bought this stuff looks pretty good now:D Sometimes asking favors to get good deals can go bad as you found out with a $650.00 shipping bill:eek: I just wish you would have stepped up at the time you bought this stuff and had me ship them like i wanted to:cool: I tryed to help you out and gave you a contact number for a shipping broker that gave you that qoute. I didnt think shipping a block and crank ect that weighed 200+LBS from coast to coast was to bad myself:) Anyways good luck and i hope you put those parts to good use:cool:

After some of the experiences I've had with shippers,I'm sure you can understand my trepidation at shipping and finding a shipping company that you can trust.
As you well know, you can't always rely on people and what they will take reponsibility for when they damage things in transit.
I've got more than one piece that was damaged by OOPS!,that they refused to pay for.
Can you say banged up V-1?
That sure hurt.
$2,200 Canadian and it wasn't even mounted yet.
Spent 8 hours fixing that one.
I'm sure you've made good use of the money I paid for the parts, and I wish you well on your new venture.
As to the new engine,it's gonna' get nothing but the best.
We'll see how it all pans out.
4L80E sound good?
It does to me,but will take some work to put in.
Oh well,it never ends, but it is fun.:)
It'll work out in the end.
Maybe I'll find a suppplier for Aeroquip hose that doesn't want to rape me.

$650 will not be the price.I've shipped a rear & driveshaft to CA. it was just over $200.The weight was over 250lbs.
Either the class was put down wrong or they charged for 3 individual boxes.
Either way I'll get it straightened out.
Did the $176 include the boxing fee $? The part I don't understand is that same previous rear sat at their Dock for 2 weeks before they called me asking if the owner was going to pick up not a day or 2.
I can't ever remember helping someone out letting them using my account just to have them slam me on the board.I'll still help out whoever I can I just guess you get 1 in every crowd.

In no way what so EVER did i mean to slam you Brian:eek: Ive shipped alot of these things around and this is the first one to go sideways:( and it has ZERO to do with you trying to help someone out:cool: I just wish i could have sent it off the same way ive always done it instead of trying to save a nickle or two;)
So again please dont think this was a shot at you:) I charge $20.00 to $25.00 to build the shipping pallet and deliver it to the shipper if thats what you mean:D (Witch i think is reasonable enough)John offerd me a little bit of money for tripping over it in my recroom for the last year or so and not for the pallet..

I happen to mention to The Rectum Kid that I was having an engine shipped back from Maryland. He suggested I try Roadway Express. I phoned them and they quoted me $651 for 450 lbs.
I then phoned ABF that I'd used before and got what they call a one time shipping rate. That was just over $200 for the same engine.

STOP USING ROADWAY EXPRESS !! Their prices are outrageous.

Listen here, you sheep lover[:D Hey,Chuck said so],I ran their numbers on their website for 250 #'s and it came out to $350 max.
It sounds like something got goofed up here.
Of course, you always find out about the right way to do these things after it all goes down.:(

Im sure Brian will fix the problem and it will cost you less than i qouted you:) He does this all the time and does a great job helping people on this board:)
