How rare are 86' t-types? I'm looking at one that has the 45/45 leather seats, moon roof, posi, electronic touch climate control, twilight sentinel, concert sound, rear trunk release, rear window defogger, power antenna, cruise control, power seat on driver's side, map lights, left and right mirror remote, electric windows, and column shift. Thanks, R.B.

All 86 T-Types are pretty rare, they only made 2384 of them.Yes, that is probably a rare option package you describe. But would it's rareness make it worth more $$ than any other 86 T-Type with similar mileage and condition?Probably not much if any.But it'still a good find if the price is right. ;)

This car doesn't have the spoiler on the back. I thought all tr's had them. Also some of the emblems are missing. How many emblems were on the 86't-types and where do they go on the car? Thanks, R.B.

The only T-tpye that had the spoiler from the factory was the WH1 "designer series" which are arguably the rarest of the T models. Many were isntalled by the dealers and even by the owners. The emblems are as follows:
Hood ornament "turbo 3.8 liter"
Hood bulge "3.8 SFI Tirbo"
Front fender "T Type" and "Intercooled"
Rear 1/4 by the tail light: "Regal"
Deck lid "3.8 SFI Turbo" (LH) and "Buick" (RH)

GNTTYPE.org had the dimensions on placement at one time.
Based on options it sounds like a pretty rare beast. What's the asking price ????

$6900.00. Original paint, grey (not very good.) 123,000 miles completely stock, catalytic convertor and all.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. If I had the $$ I'd probably do it.
