Looking for possible sources of an annoying rattle over road imperfections. Seems to be coming from the rear and almost a light marble in a can sound. So metallic in nature. I've had it up on ramps trying to shake things around and nothing. E-brake bracket is solid, fuel filter tight, lines seem to be tight as well. Exhaust doesn't really move and can't come in contact with anything.
Any ideas??
Rear mods are an H&R sway bar, Metco lowers, stock uppers, TA rear girdle if that even matters

Could it be the H&R bar? Bushings in the lower control arms?
It drives me nuts

Trunk lid latch out of adjustment? Had a rattle and thats what it turn out to be.. first thing that popped into my mind

That was what I was going to say I had one upper shock bolt loose that was making noise

Will do this weekend. Almost makes sense, from how it reacts to bumps that it would be shock related, but the sound throws me off.

Probably a good idea to throw a torque wrench on all the bolts holding the rear suspension together and lube all the bushings while you under it.

I had a loud annoying rattle that took me a good 6 months to figure out. I had the rear sway bar off and when I bolted it back on, I forgot that there is a little bracket inside the lower control arm to prevent the arm from being squashed when you torque down the sway bar bolts. Thing was making a ton of racket when I would hit a decent size bump. Looked the car over like 10 times couldn't find it. I had a buddy help me out and stand by a bump in a parking lot and listen... and then when we still couldn't figure it out I made him get in the trunk and take a quick ride!! That's how I found my problem.
