P PLAINWHITE T Tree peddler Joined Jan 11, 2010 Jan 19, 2010 #23 Before tearing into the lower end, just for giggles check the torque converter and flywheel bolts. They can occasionally mimic a bad rod or main bearing! I hope you luck out!
