After talking to you the other day about shifters I came across this new product from B&M. Because I'm not computer saber I'll do it the long way. Go to BMRacing, then to products, then to Automatic shifters, then to Accessories/knobs, then scroll down to Precision shift control gates. Part #81071 82-92 camaro, firebird. Check it out. Let me know how this turns out. I want a tranny brake but dont want to shift into N or even worse R. Also, do you by chance have a shifter detent plate?

wait...after reading into it more, can you use this with the stock shifter? Would it work like Heuffmans plate..if it does, I'm ordering

The way it reads yes you use your stock shifter. I was going to wait and call B&M direct but I just went ahead and ordered one from jegs. Merry Christmas to all and don't spend all your money on these junk cars buy the kids some toys.:biggrin: Michael

U can save $50 and do some searching at thirdgen.

There are plans there for what u need to cut and how much to do that to a stock gate.
