Ok this question is directed mainly to Razor but others feel free to chime in. While playing with one of my other toys (1/8 scale glow powered RC buggy) i just happen to think...what if you ran glow fuel in an alky kit? The only in it is methyl alcohol/nitromethane/oil. Would it hurt anything? Would the nitromethane actually make a diffrence? Just one of those things that pops in my head at strange times.

Problem is the oil.

Get rid of the oil.. it may work..

You first

they make it with like 16 or 17% oil and 25% nitromethane. the oil is 80% synthetic and 20% castor. I do not know if that is too much. Is the ol a problem for gumming, or hard on the pump?

My guess the oil in the combustion chambers would promote detonation.

Ding ding ding... winner

Im pretty sure we used to get a special nitro mix... 100% that we used to dillute with "older" fuels for some of our RC planes n cars n such... I didnt think there was any oil in that at all... It was NOT cheap though.

I will be the first to say I know nothing about it but when I was young I raced a motorcycle, Flattrack and TT, We used castor oil in the gas, Made it smell good mixed with the dirt

Castor oil, Smell good. Its been a while for you hasnt it. Ams oil smells great, plus the recomender 50:1 mix, wow, I swear it brought out 3-5 more horse in my 250, Honda of course :D :D :D RIDE RED
