can I put the controller under the hood...that way the only thing I'm running through the firewall is the lead for the remote and the LED's. I've got a lot of audio elec. in the car...the less under the dash the better.

I'm sure Razor will chime in here but I don't think I would mount it under the hood. Plenty of places to hide in in the car. I mounted mine to the back of the heater box where it is accessible by dropping the glovebox door.

that's where my ecm is. I don't want all of those leads going behind the head unit. The C90 has a remote power supply but still. I'll probably just axe the kit and sell it. I can't use the reservoir anyway. You'd have to look at my pics in the audio section to see what I'm talking about.

When I do installs I normally zip tie the PAC box under or on the side of the steering column.

The unit is not designed to be under the hood due to heat, moisture, etc. I guess if you keep water away from it there wont be any issue.

Now I have some guys that have done fuel cells and mounted the PAC unit in the trunk then used a Cat5 extension to mount the controller in the cab.

the car stays in a climate controlled garage and doesn't see rain...it doesn't even see water in a carwash.
Razor,
I need some other ideas for alky tanks...I know I'll lose the fuel level light...but the battery I'm using is large and all up in the reservoir's personal space. LOL

You dont lose the low level becuase we change tanks. Call me during the week and i'll walk you through some ideas. This is hard to do over a keyboard.

The problem is where you going to stick that under the hood? Your on the right track. The Jazz piece is nicer.

You have to change out the fittings.. like I said.. call me tommorrow. ;)
