Julio, I 've just about got my car off of any type of race fuel....(I don't drive the car much is why its taken so long :) )
I've got just a degree or 2 of transitional knock at around 10-13# of boost..none at WOT. The "turn on" point is set at about 3-4#.

In oder to get rid of the transitional knock, should I up the gain/"ramp up" knob just a bit thats on the inside of the controller?

The "Ramp up" only controlls how quickly the pump gets full voltage (per the blue knob on the outside of the controller) and not what the WOT amount of alky is right?

Increase the "Initial" control. So when the system fires it starts with a lot more. You may need to back down the gain knob if the "Initial" is turned up.

Once the "turnon" point is reached, the "Initial" is how much voltage is sent to the pump when it initially fires. Increasing this control makes the system's delivery of alky to the motor way more aggressive. Now the outside "Gain"(blue) knob then directly affects of the boost pressure rise sensed from the MAP sensor.

So if you increase the Initial it puts more alky into the motor throughout the entire range. Laymens terms.. think of it as a bicycle ramp. If you leave the gain knob alone, increasing the Initial is like adding blocks to the front and back of the ramp.

The control is sensitive. Small changes make huge changes to pressure output. So make adjustments to this control in very small increments. Factory setting is the 11:30 position, try going to 12-12:30 position. And too high of a setting will reach the pumps max pressure prematurely.

Lastly... very important.. if the fuel commanded by the chip is wrong, no amount of alky will cure the issue. In other words if at 13 PSI your motor is leaning out heavy cuasing the knock... then using the alky is trying to bandaid it. So you have to watch what the air fuel ratio is at that boost to assure you dont have any issues. Becuase at 13 PSI you should be able and run it without alky. And seeing knock at a boost level you should be able and run without.. guess you know where this is going.

I see what your saying. Yeah, I've cut fuel in just about all the rpm ranges in PE mode so I guess I need to revisit that. I'll try getting it steady at about 13# and see what the A/R is. Thanks!
