I love ya guys :D

Dennis, I hear ya, just that thursday nite, I was out of time, so I go to the track.. lo and behold there was like 100 semi's there for the big mustang event this weekend.. along with that, 240 cars paid at the gate.. plus the cars that are already there. 500 cars racing. My first pass was at 8:45 pm, next one was at 9:50. The big tires are going on it, I just need to sort the tune out a little better. I love the fact that there is so much new found potential :)

Red... dude.. that 51 already has the Reds clipped wheel syndrome  ... as soon as it gets worse, i'll probably go for a Limit 61 at well.

SalvageV6.. dunno.. a lot of cars woul appear to be on the juice, but they werent here. i've heard a lot of the same.. but it didnt pan out like that. Kinda like 10 second Hondas.. everyone knows they exist, I just never see them. :D

What I want to know.. this is gonna get some slack.. where are all those Buicks that run low 12's high 11's on 93 pump gas by itself at. I guess its like a 10 second Honda.. everybody says they exist, but I've never seen one.

Like I told you at the track. What you determined with your race wasn't the fastest Buick on pump gas. You determined the fastest Buick with your rules. If you open up the rules, I'll drive a GN 3 hours from my house to Bradenton with the AC running, cruise control on, 200-4R trans, etc.. and run 10's on pump gas at 3800#'s

Cal,
Ya know we're down like a car with 4 flat tires :), but I wanted an anything goes class... but the masses wanted differently. Not my rules.. its just what it is. Should of brought that car, had him fill up on 93, and showed the world how its done.. but since that didnt happen... ya know the ol saying.. where was the car while the blank pages on the history book where being written :D .

I said many times, come lets put up a pot on an anything goes 93 class. 50 bucks in the pot, fastest car takes all.. nobody wanted in  i would of handsomely given 50 bucks to get school'd.. But...

Don.. Dont pick on the queen. Unless your on South Beach :D

If my aunt had a mustache, she'd be my uncle

That's exactly my point. I told Razor at the track that I would probably be seeing on the board that the winner was the"Fastest Buick on pump gas". When in fact, it's the fastest Buick within the guidelines of the rules.

Julio: I appreciate everything you did with the class. I believe you and I were on the same page when the rules were being made. Perhaps next year we can have a TSPO class :) I know Laz had a car or two that would have ran if the rules were different.

Either way, you did a great job. I have been in your position and know that you can't make everyone happy.

I think all race classes have rules, yeah most suck, but the car that won gets the pump gas/adder, street stock block title.

You can have some classes written around turbos and you can have some classes written around alky. TSP is TSP. ;)

I prefer to have a closer to stock street car rules class myself. :)

Obviously everyone wants the classes written around their car, I know I would.

3 street car classes would be great excepting logistics and tech. :p

I think the class did great the first time run, and Richie did win the class and the "title"! :)

Next post will be from my lawyer with a complete set of rules and entry form. :D

At least it was heads up racing and not bracket crap. :p
