not sure about this but if you put sealer on the bolts and you re-torque won't this break the sealer ?
 
Kinda depends on the sealer and how long you wait but yes. Also, there is no need to retorque the factory style TTY bolts.
 
There should be no need to retorque head bolts, assuming the original torque sequence was properly done.
You'll very likely break or weaken the sealer.

Bolts don't have the retorque requirements of studs.
