Well, it's apperent that the car wasn't even warmed up yet. To get a good reading, take the car out for a drive-around, maybe a mile or so, then take those same readings.

That being said, the TPS is WAY TOO LOW. Should be .40-.42 at idle

Why is your battery voltage reading so high? Volt booster? not supposed to be operating at idle.

WHat chip, what mods.
 
ya the car was cold. first time ever reading the numbers don't know anything about the scanmaster. don't know to much about the cars in general but they are awesome. it has a voltage booster, the pump upgrade, siemens deka 3172 injectors i think they are 55lbers, stock turbo, stock intercooler, stock trans and torque, 2 1/2 inch exhaust, 10mm plug wires, it has a long grey wire with a little toggle switch at on end don't really know what it is for, turbo tweak chip it says 57#street93 rev a leaner and in the top corner its says 105 timing eric said was 18* 15-17 psi of boost,cold air kit, ecm don't know if its stock or not.i think that sums it up that know of. need all the help i can get. thanks ryan

Much better. Now all you have to do is get that TPS adjusted properly.
 
Key on, engine off.

The TPS is on the passenger side of the throttle body. It's held in place with two hex head screws. Try to loosen them just a little, enough so the tps can move with some, but not a lot of effort. Slide TPS forward in it's slots (this sets WOT value to max).

Now tighten the bottom screw just slightly to hold it in place, look on the scanmaster for the TPS value, and if you move the front of the tps up or down SLIGHTLY, you'll notice the value change. Shoot for .40

Got it? tighten screws, re verify idle value. Now, while watching tps value, push acclerator all the way WOT (remember, we're still key on ENGINE OFF). You'd hope to see a wot TPS value better than 4.5, but not more than 4.95.

Your monitoring and setting of TPS values are best done with key on, engine off Just turn the key to on, and cycle through the scanmaster displays to get to tps.
 
ok ya thats what i figured just wanted to make sure. with adjusting the tps is it going to change the shift in of the transmission does the tps have something to do with the transmission line pressure.

No, that's done mechanically with the TV (throttle valve) cable, also attached to the throttle.

Dave, I just tested mine since, when the car is running at idle it is .46. With key on, engine off it is .44 idle and 4.28 max.
How would I adjust this since idle is high and max is low?

If you're sure the tps is as far forward as it will go in it's mount, the only thing left is to gently nudge the nose of the tps a little up (or down, can't remember which way) to get it to about .42 key on engine off.
 
ok, thanks. I didn't try adjusting at all yet, wasn't sure which way to go since the difference is opposite for idle and WOT. I will give them a try. Thanks again for the response.

I followed your directions and got it to .42-.44 idle and 4.60 WOT, thanks!
