Buick gurus you have been a big help in my preperation to go racing. One more question. I wont have time to make a few runs before a buick event comming up in a week. My car dynoed at 600 to the wheels on 22 lbs boost with 18 degrees timing. I was using 114 octane fuel. I have read where its safe up to 24 degrees with c16 and that I should make a run with 20 degrees and check plugs a/f etc. Since I wont have time for numerous runs I will run with the 22 lbs and 18 degrees for this track event. Would I be better off just using the 114 octane as I am told if I use c16 I may lose power because its slower burning with my 18 degrees of timing. The calculators say the 600 at the wheels is good for low 10s at 3650 lbs my car weights. I assumed 600 at the wheels is about 750 at the motor? Thanks
