Hey guys,

While I'm probably going to run the existing 3.800 x 2.660 combo I have, the huge bore to stroke ratio and the limits of a stock block have me wondering how much farther I can push it past the current ~350hp peak I'm considering now without blowing the bottom out or loosing control of the valvetrain.

One of the non-stage options that's actually class legal is to use one of those horrid 3.500in bore LC9 blocks from 78-79 and put some stroke back into it with an Indy ~3.0X crank or something else similar. How strong are these super early even fire blocks and is there any problems putting 8445 or aftermarket heads on them?

Thanks,

They pretty much all the same until 85. I run an 82 block in my we4. I'm sure it runs a little more than 350hp. Build away.
