I just put new brake all around and the bigger S-10 wheel cylinders on the car...it stops great. We dialed the rears in like you would normally. You can tell they grab harder but it's nothing crazy.
Now for adjusting them....
right now, you can set the ebrake, put it in gear, and the car won['t go anywhere. But, if you give it a little gas it'll pull forward slowly. How tight should the rears be so that I can build some boost and launch this pig?

You should adjust the e-brake cable so that at three clicks of the pedal it is fully engaged. Then it is a matter of spinning the rear wheels and adjusting the star wheels until you hear a very, very light scraping from the shoes against the drums. Removing the driveshaft makes the star adjustment easier.
