I am looking for a set of poly bushings w/zerts for my rear axle control arms. I would like to box my arms and install the bushings. Where is the best place to purchase these??
TIA

HRPartsnstuff website.

Do a search.

Has die cut plates you weld in and the good greaseable bushings.

Or better yet just buy a set of his replacement control arms.

I have used both with good results. :)

I'm going to let the cat out - just a little.

If you can wait about 30 to 45 days I will have the best priced lower heavy duty boxed arms for our GN's in the whole country. Unfortunately I will only have 50 sets, that's all we are going to make due to death threats from our wives. At less than $80.00 a set it will be worth the wait. They will be constructed from 11 gauge steel box tubing with greasable poly bushings, (from Energy Suspension) and grease zerts will be installed. We're just testing out the first set this week, there's a big difference over the stock arms! To make a long story short, the next closest priced boxed LCA's in the whole country, that I can find, are $129.00. That means that ours will be about 40% less money with NO sacrifice in quality. I guess they will kind of be like the "suave" of the lower control arm world. Ours does what theirs does for a lot less. I'll post up the pictures and more info around the middle of September. Happy Motoring! -BB:p

With the Keith Mease Downpipe debacle still fresh in everyone's mind ('better than Houston D/P at less cost"), now might not be the best time to offer "LCAs at 40% less money with NO sacrifice in quality". You might have a great product, but people are going to by gun-shy without extraordinary customer support. At the minimum, credit card purchases allowed, with no billing until the item ships.

I did do a search but could not find the greasable type for the rear on this board. Not that I am a tightwad or anything but... If I have the tools and material I would rather just buy the bushings and do everything else myself. Thanks for the info guys.

Thanks for the input Tom, I did a search for the Mease DP and read all about the problems. My situation will be a little different though, here's why. I'm not a business, I'm just an regular enthusiast having a garage sale. I'll have 50 sets setting on my garage floor, and once they're gone thats it. None of this, I'll make more next week, just be patient. Nope, I'll have 50 sets, 50 boxes to ship em, 50 UPS slips, 50 sets of instructions, and that's that. I've got to say this though, lol, I can't think of the last time I ever got above and beyond customer support from a vender, except Summit Racing. Unfortunately they don't sell a whole lot of Buick stuff though. I've bought stuff from CAS, Poston, Kirban, the list goes on and on. Usually, you always wish you could have spoken to a live human being, or that your e-mail would get answered, or that your order wasn't delayed for some reason, you know what I mean. This project will be cut and dryed, just like e-mailing Joe, or Fred on the board and telling them you want the steering wheel they are selling. They send you a picture, then you send a money order and 10 days later you've got your steering wheel. I've got some good contacts on this board of folks that I've sold items to in the past, I'm sure they won't mind giving me a recomendation. Anyway, (I feel like Ive written a novel here), everything will work out fine, thanks again for the tip. Happy Motoring- BB:)

Thanks Buick beginner and Salvage 6. I am just gonna buy the bushings from HR parts and stuff and do the rest myself.
