Rear end clunk

I just installed a Curried 9" rear end with a 4" drive shaft, and when I put the car in gear, forward or reverse it makes a loud clunking sound. It made the exact same noise with the stock rear end. I doubt both rear ends make the exact same noise. Any ideas what else it could be? Thanks

maybe trans making the noise?

Yeah I'm starting to think it might be the Trans. It's definitely a loud metal on metal clunk. I'm taking it to Jimmy soon for some Trans work, so I'll see what he thinks.
