Rear end Question

getting a 7.5 posi rear end off someone near my house thats all original.
came out of a 78 cutlass, now would that stock easton posi be able to handle 3.73's or 4.11's?

i wont be drag racing it at all and no i dont have the money for an 8.5.

Depends on which gear ratio it came with originally. Carriers are different for each ratio, 3 series and 4 series. Probably came with a 2 series carrier unless it was a hi-po Cutlass then maybe it's a 3 series.
