Rear end shipment/transporting question

Any harm is transporting a G80 rear end with the axle tubes removed? In other words, it's just the rear end housing with the posi unit in the pumpkin. I'm concerned if the posi unit would somehow become "misaligned" or something without the axles in place.

The axles just slide into the carrier, and are supported by the carrier at that end- they don't provide any support. The carrier is supported by the bearings, which are firmly bolted in, so moving the thing around with no axles won't hurt anything. Unless maybe it gets dropped off the truck, or hit by a train, but the axles wouldn't help much in either case!
