I hear that bolting it in people drill through gas line.
whats the best way, bolt weld rivet? any recommendations?

The tubular type is bolted in, the gnx style is bolted in or riveted in. Im sure people are going to say that the only right way is to weld it in and some one else will say to fill the car up to the windows with concrete to prevent the body from moving a millimeter during aggressive lane changes.

welding it in was the EASIEST way to install it in my case. Done in 30 minutes and no worry about drilling, bolts coming lose, busting knuckles, etc.

The gas line is no where near the area that the seat brace would go.
