What is has to be done to install these braces. I have them on my car when I bought it but the last owner did not install the bottom right, top center or the bottom left bolts. Also I don't thik he put the other bolts in the correct spot. Can someone please give me ideas to fix this mess.
Thank You
Sal

the braces are in the right spot...what you will need to do is put the car on 4 jack stands, pull the back seat out, and drill the holes for the rest of the braces and bolt them in.

yes because it will unload the car and when the braces are installed the car will be much stiffer as to not jacking up the car.

Everybody that sells and/or installs these rear seat braces advises jacking the car up and placing it on stands.

On the frame I take it, that way the wheels and such will hang free, correct? I lost the directions to mine, still loose in trunk of car.

Is there a factory rear seat brace? I just took a set of Kirbans off of my car and I can't figure out if there was a smaller seat brace from the factory on it. -----Jeremy

From what I have read, jacking up the car and putting it on jackstands on the frame on level ground, letting the wheels 7 so forth hang down.

Not on Buick gbodies.

The GNX had a one-piece brace welded in the same general area. Of course: you can't buy one anywhere(unless you can get a GNX owner to cut it out of his car  ).
