Hello all,

My rear speakers sound muffled in my car, you can barely hear them. Stock GN radio/cassette with equalizer but had the rear speakers changed to 6 X 9's years ago. The front speakers are fine.
Any ideas what this could be and what to do to correct it? It has been like this for years--gotta love those Ultraflows :)

Thanks in advance,

Ravi

Are they wired correctly, specifically meaning in phase with the front speakers? To test this try switching the speaker leads, + and -. I can't remember the speaker wire colors to tell you which is + or - on either side. so, swap one side at a time and adjust the balance left and right to determine if there is a difference.
If the speakers are a two way or 3 way design there are a couple of other questions. Are the speakers capable of being "dual amped"? If so check that the tweeter lead is connected with the woofer leads. Lastly, are the tweeters blown? HTH
