i take a drill and drill out the rubber with about a 3/8 in drill bit, all large as can fit between the inner and outer steel fittings of the bushings, when you finally get enough of the rubber drilled out to make the rubbber kinda loose spray with penetrating oil and take a hammer and a large punch and knock out the rubber, once the rubber is out i took a grinder and ground off one side of the steel fiting right up to the ear on the rear axle then took a punch and hit on it real hard for a long time until it was worked out, then pound in the new ones using a wood block to knock in the new ones with a hammer so you dont wreck them. It is a huge PITA and will require multiple F-bombs, and other words that you thought you never knew and some you make up HAVE FUN!!
