Rear Window Defrost No Worky

My rear window defrost is not coming on. What is the most likely cause? The switch itself or the relay? The switch never "clicks" and the little light doesn't come on. Also, sometimes it will work when I don't need it really

Okay there is no relay, it's in the switch
