rear window with defogger, central IL

Going to remove my purple tint and in case the defogger peals up with it I will need a new window. 1987 GN. I can drive to pick it up if you don't want to ship. Thanks.

You do know that if you have glass coverage you can still get a new one right?

Or if you go to the local yard you can get one out of a monte or cutlass from multiple years.

removed tint on my Chrysler. I researched the process first. If you use a dark garbage bag and cut it to the window size then spray an ammonia water mix on tint and cover with garbage bag and let sit in hot sun for about 3 hrs, you may have luck in peeling that stuff right off, read up on it first, you may not need the new glass. good luck
