Does anybody have any information on a rebuild kit for a hotair car? Any help is much appreciated.

I saw a rebuild kit for a 86-87 turbo car, but wasn't sure if it would work on my 84 hotair car.

Are talking about bottom end parts, complete gasket kit, HG's, head bolts .....???

TA sais that it is a complete overhaul kit. I might just call them up and see what they say about it.

That kit is an gasket kit for 86-87.
Here is what you can use from the kit;
Gaskets; Water pump, front cover, rope seal, rear main, oil pump, and front cover window gasket, valve cover, cam sensor o-ring, injector o-rings, fuel line seals.

What you "can not use" to be considered “stock”;
HG’s (You can, but it will lower the compression be about ½ point)

What you “may” be able to use;
Oil pan gasket, if you have a 20 bolt block

What will not be able to use;
TB, Vacuum block gasket.

What you will need to source;
Turbo adapter o-rings (2)

Valley pan intake gasket will work.

My main question was is there a source for a rebuild kit meant for the 84 hotair car? Or will I just have to buy a 86-87 kit and find other pieces from somewhere else?
