ugh, this cant go easy can it? so, here is where i'm at:
i cant get lo/reverse in for the life of me. it seems like the output shaft is either to far foward or to far back, and it pulls something the wrong way, misalings another and then i have to rip everything apart again and start over. so is there a trick or a knack to getting that lined up perfectly so i can get it right the first time?
then i had a brain fart and i cant remember which goes in first; a steel or clutch? talking about for everything, reverse, foward clutch, direct, and over drive/over run.
and that little rubber seal thing (yes, i know that there is probably a more specific name for it.) that goes in the channels for the lo/reverse assembly... what is the best way to get that out?
and lastly is there anyway to see if the clutches inside overdrive are being applied or not? i just replaced all those seals and and figure out if it works or not....
thanks, any help is apperciated...
