In case I have to go into this again to resolve a delayed / no shift issue I would like to ask what pointers you can offer for clean, crisp shift shifts accross the board? I use to have an old Art Carr shift kit and loved 1st to 2nd shift but 3rd was alittle soft. So I switched to another vendor and it was soft for all gears so went with a modified kit.
Because of shifting problems all of a sudden I may have to go back in and do some looking around. If I do go into the trans I would like to install parts or do mods that will give good positive shifts in all the gears. How can I make that happen? Thanks

Setting a trans up for what you are asking is not difficult. You need to seal up the leaks and tighten up the clutch packs. I would remove both shift kits and go back to stock first. I can set you up with a list of parts that will get you to your goals during a rebuild. Call in to the shop if you like...
